Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our nationally recognized team.
Schedule:
- Full-time rotating on 1st and 2nd shift
- 40 hours a week (5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts)
- Rotating weekends
- Call requirements (24 hours in a 4 week period)
- $2,500 sign on bonus eligible

Education, Licensure and Certification Required:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technician Accredited Program
- Certified Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA or NCCT
- 1-2 years OR scrub experience (preferred)
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to independently perform scrub duties

What you will do as a Certified Surgical Tech:
- Functions in the scrub role on surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team
- Preparation and maintenance of the sterile field
- Participates in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room
- Maintains professional work environment
- Passes instruments to the surgeon and anticipate the surgeons needs
- Demonstrates accountability for own self development
