Position Overview

As a Certified Phlebotomy Technician , you will gain diverse experience by working with various patients, teams, and clinical locations. This dynamic role is perfect for individuals who thrive in variety and are seeking professional growth and advancement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly
• Process billing and collect payments as needed
• Prepare and transport specimens for lab testing
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Complete clerical and administrative tasks
• Travel to multiple sites as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or prior phlebotomy experience
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Minimum age: 21 years
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable with minimal supervision
• Able to work overtime and travel as needed
• Must pass standardized color blindness test

Compensation and Incentives

• Base Pay: based on skills, certifications, experience, and market data
• PST Incentive Plan: Eligible for quarterly performance-based bonuses
• Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hour + mileage reimbursement

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Hours and locations may vary based on business needs or supervisor directives
